Sergio came up through fourteen years in the Northern Virginia residential trade — apprenticing under a master carpenter, then leading framing and finish crews on high-end builds across Loudoun and Fairfax. Mendoza Craft Co. was started in 2018 with one rule: don't take more work than the crew can do well.

That meant turning down jobs. Saying no to subcontractor shuffles and bidding wars. Working entirely from referrals so every project starts on a foundation of trust.

The crew is small — Sergio plus three full-time carpenters and a finish specialist. Specialty trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, tile setters) are long-standing partners, not low-bid pickups. Same faces show up to your job every day until it's done.

We speak English and Spanish. Sergio handles every estimate personally. Every weekly update comes from him.
